  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So I pulled up behind a G90 the other day, beautiful car. I was in my white 2016 Genesis. I tried to pull up alongside him to take a pic and give him a thumbs up, but he mashed the pedal down and took off. My turn off was coming up, otherwise I would have caught up to him.

Beautiful car, it was a little boxy for my taste though. It looks like a very stretched out Genesis and I can't decide if I like that or not. I'll bet that interior is incredible though.

^ Needs to be boxy if it wants to have the headroom for rear passengers.

The next K900 will have the more tapering roofline a la a 4-door coupe.

Wow! Nice catch! Would you mind posting this on the G90 forum? (click the link)

Have they posted the firm pricing details yet?

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
of course I'm wondering, how is this new badge and label going to affect the resale or trade-in value of my 2014 and 2011 EQUUSes? Will concierge only continue for the old Equus, or will the high end Genesis get the same treatment? I have enjoyed my cars so much. I keep one in CA where I live most of the time and the other in the South where I am from and have rental properties and am there half of the time.
I am glad Hyunday decided to make Genesis the Accura, Lexus, and Infiniti of the Hyundai line. I think their mistake was not to do that sooner... They are building some really fine quality cars. I like the looks and features of every single model....

I think you can expect the resale to fall faster on the Equus. It always does when cars change body style and even more so when the next generation takes on a completely different look than the last one
That being said, I dont think Hyundai..as a brand...is known for having strong resale value across the board

Hmm, I might have to grab that 5.0 badge.

Nice catch.. Was this a personal car or is there a Genesis HQ nearby? I didn't know they were selling them yet. Can anyone confirm they are on the market already?

The license plate had manufacturer on it so I would assume that's where it came from, I don't think they are available for sale yet. This was in NJ by the way, not sure why they were so far away.

Hyundai has a facility in Michigan, with this description on their website:

"This 220,000-square-foot state-of-the-art engineering and technology center is home to hundreds of America's brightest engineers. They drive innovation with cutting-edge engineering design and development technology to create the next generation of safer, more efficient vehicles."

They have a test center in Mojave, CA ....I've seen some camouflaged Hyundai cars driving on hwy. 58 with MI "manufacturer" plates like this one.
