  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

KDM Wing Wheel Caps

Oh oh! I live in Phoenix, AZ and your FL extreme heat is like a/c over here!

Hmmm , hope I don't get any problems when I receive mine.

I would think that by now others in Florida would be having a problem. When I removed it it was pretty warm to the touch.

I heard from the seller in Korea. He wants me to send a picture so he can complain to Hyundai in Korea. Once I take a picture I'll send a copy here.

Is it possible that having 3 out of the 4 installed that the weight distribution might be off a .0001 of a pound and pressure somewhere is affecting the proper installation of the 4th?

Not sure about that, but let's ask Al Gore...he invented the internet...I'll bet he'd know! :>)

The high price is no doubt because it is going through up to two middlemen before you get it.

I had a problem with one of my "Wing" wheel caps, which, by now reading some of your remarks with problems installing it, that is probably why one of them fell off!

I am on back order for just one - and am ticked off because the car doesn't look right with 3 "wing" caps and one with the H.

Not a very patient person, specially when it comes to my car not looking as gorgeous as it did when it had all 4, plus the "Wing" emblem in the trunk.

Hopefully it won't be long before I get the one to replace the lost one.

Got mine (17" wheel caps and wing logo for the hood and trunk)/installed.. and love them.. much better than Hyundai logo all over the place.
I've Got them from Ebay as well .. Shipping was very fast (only took 2days!)
There is a guy located in U.S and sells at the lowest price.

Can anyone post the name of the guy on E-bay so I can get the wings? Thanks

Looking at the photos of the wheel inserts I did notice the slots to pry the caps off. I have 17" wheels and there are NO SLOTS. Has anyone had problem getting the factory ones off that have no slots? I don't want to scratch anything..........help would be appreciated

Someone in another thread suggested that you have to remove the wheel and knock them out from the rear. Looking at the 17" replacement caps, it does not look like they come out easily.
