Kilometer Question

Does anyone know if there is a way to change the MPH to be KPH, because I looked all through the owners manual and I couldn't find it? Any help with this will be appreciated, I bought the car in the US using MPH and now I live in Germany where it's KPH if not than I'll just have to continue using MPH. Thanks

Nope. You will just have to do the conversion in your head, or (see below)

When I was stationed in Germany, I made a conversion on a piece of cardboard, that I posted on the dash, so I could convert quickly. I know that 50kph is 31mph, and that 80kph is 50mph and that 130kph is 81mph.

Take your km reading, divide by 8, then multiply by 5 for your mile reading.
Take your mile reading, divide by 5, then multiply by 8 for your km reading.

After a while, you won't even need to look at the conversion chart. You will know it by heart.

Are you talking about changing the units on the GPS? The trip computer? All of the above?

Obviously, the speedo has KPH on the scale.

Kind of odd that you can change the temperature from degrees F to Celsius but not between miles and kilometers.
