  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Blessed peace at last. He has come and gone periodically for the last few years. Mostly to complain about something. It is beyond belief that so much tragedy could befall one person and how much of the world has singled him out for persecution, just listen to him. $700 is not a bad price for tires. Costco was between $850 and $1000 for a similar spec tire to the OEM, either Michelin or Bridgestone. I put Toyo Proxes 4+ on my car and they were 650 online shipped plus 70 for mounting, balancing and disposal of the old tires. Definitely much smoother and quieter than the OEM Dunlops.

Yeah, exactly! The crap OEM tires cannot be replaced (at a reasonable cost) and meet the specs to turn in this dung vehicle.

And I was promised a loaner, And I have suffered multiple intermittent electrical/electronic problems, And I have been repeatedly lied to, And I did wait at the dealership for a meeting with a Hyundai factory rep who never showed, And I have been treated rudely at the dealership, And the dealership took four visits to replace a limit switch in the driver's seat, And the headlight control does not work properly (the battery goes dead), And and And and And....the car is a piece of dung and the dealership should go into Dantes Inferno.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!

If someone can't afford to replace the tires with same ones installed at the factory, they shouldn't purchase or lease the car.

Winner winner, chicken dinner.

OP, I wouldn't complain about the price you paid for the tires. We recently paid more than that to replace just two tires on my wife's Benz! I drive a 2010 Genny and so far have been very pleased with it. My last car was an Infinity G35 and it had problems. No manufacturer has a perfect track record for every owner. They're designed and built by man, so problems will eventually happen.

Heck, I fly small planes where faults can result in a really bad day, and they're not perfect, either!

Why in the world didn't you change dealers when you began having problems? Naples must have more than one Hyundai dealership. And I would have been on the phone to the regional sales manager and, if necessary, the national sales manager regarding the "lies" you received. It costs real money for corporations to address problems like that and if there is any suit worth his salt at Hyundai he would have addressed it quickly.

You must be the hear of the Whiner family.

My God the battery went dead and it took more than once to fix an electrical problem. Everyone who touched your POS vehicle should rot in hell. Right now I'm hoping that this forum has an ignore feature. I don't feel the need to view this nonsense again.

Good evening.

My apologies to the membership.

Heeeeeee's Baaaaaaaack......

Shut up.... this is his last LAST post. For reals.

Guys... this is getting out of hand. Consider this a friendly warning.

Play nice, or I'll hand out some vacation time.

OP - Understand that no car is perfect. If you don't have anything constructive to add, be done with this thread and move on.

I have had more problems with my 2012 genesis base v6 than I have had with any other new car. The check engine light is a frequent visitor (charcoal cannister issues twice, faulty fuel injector that took 4 visits to correctly diagnose) and have had other issues.

I still like the car and think the OP is a bit of a drama queen, but the reliability of Hyundai is frustrating and may lead me to go for another brand for our next new car.

Must just be your imagination. When I mentioned in another thread about problems reported in this forum with Hyundai Genesis DI injectors, the others claimed that no one has mentioned any such problems.
