  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Is there a setting to only have the LED's around the headlight stay on or do tey only come on when the low beams are on? thanks

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
If you have the 2016 those LEDs function as the daytime running lights aka drls. If you've got a 2015, they can be turned on as a parking light, however they are much more dim than the 2016 drl and your tail lights will be on too. You'll also have to remember to physically switch your headlights on too since your stalk will no longer be set to auto.

kinda a silly question but do the DRL's go off a sensor? i left work this morning around 715 with it still kinda dark out and didn't seem like they were on only the headlights.. the knob was one click above the "DRL off" mode... i believe... i got home and checked the lighting on the garage and couldn't see them on... i left around 1:30pm and they were on..

Are you confusing your DRLs with your accent lights? If you turn on your headlights, your DRL lamps are supposed to be OFF.

I guess I have a similar question regarding the LEDs. I just purchased a 2014 Genesis Coupe with the LEDs around the fog lamps (used). The salesman could not get the lights to come on and I have been unable to get them to activate regardless of the outside lighting or position of the headlight switch. Any help??

LEDs are a quagmire to me. And I've got a 2010..... can only imagine what the '15s and '16s are like.
