  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I’d get a generic plain stainless steel plate holder.

I picked up a dark chrome set from AutoZone. It matches the dark chrome trim on the car quite nicely.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I currently have no frame around my plate, but something about just doesn't look right to me. $60 for the official Genesis plate is a little absurd though. Just wondering what others are using for inspiration.
Frame it, stainless steel would look good. Post some more pics of that beauty, thanks

These are the ones I purchased. Just put them on my G80 sport after 3 years on my 2015 Gen2. Still, like new. $18/ea.

I like frames vs plain. Just find something that goes well with your colors.

I prefer the simple, thin-line metal. The dark option that Windchaser mentioned might be a good option if they match the dark chrome on the G70s with that trim package and if they're just a thin frame to cover the unsightly edge of the license plate. "Thin" also means that, for states that require stickers on the plate itself, those stickers can be fully visible with the frame in place.

I bought the chrome Genesis frame.

Thanks for the input everyone. I ordered a stainless steel frame off Amazon that appears to be a cheap alternative to the higher priced ones.

For those that were looking for pics, here are a few I just took. Bacically completely stock 2.0T advanced in santiago silver with 30% tint all around.

I thought the Advanced didn't come with sunroof? By the way, I think you might be uploading old pictures, because I can assure you, there is no tint on those windows lol

All versions come with a sunroof, and the windows in those pictures are tinted. Its a special tint designed to reject heat and UV without changing the overall appearance. It's illegal to tint front windows here in NS, so you must be careful with what you put on. Here is a link to what I used.

My frame says. "uS Navy"" "Retired". The blue paint on the frame is starting to fade, so next trip to the Orlando Navy Exchange, I'll buy another. $18.

Just last night I ordered a carbon fiber frame on Amazon. 30 smackaroos. Hopefully it will look good on the G80 Sport. Waiting for my specialty plates, which might take a month or more. Once in, I'll take/upload some pics.
