Lock doors while open

Is there a way to lock the GV70 doors before they're all closed? E.g. so I can ensure they're locked, stop fumbling with the key, and help my passenger(s) out of the vehicle?

This has been possible with every car that's ever had a key fob, except for this one, unless I'm missing something. Please help!

Leave your key in your pocket.
Get all your passengers out.
Close all the doors.
Touch the lock location on either of the front door handles.

The car will lock, and this is the easy way to do it. Why make things hard on yourself?
