  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I just purchased a 2009 4.6L Genesis and I'll be needing some winter wheels in the next few months.

I'm hoping someone has some 17" wheels w/lightly used snow tires that are compatible with the 4.6L.

I live in Milwaukee, WI but would be willing to drive a bit or pay for shipping if that's an option.

Thanks!

Hi,

I don't know what is your budget but some stores like www.tirerack.com are price friendly (a dunlop winter tires for your Genesis cost actually 598$). They ship directly (if you wish) to an installer like Sears and it will cost less than 25$ to install it.

Hope it helps and have a good day!

Thanks, I appreciate the info. I was actually looking at Tirerack, they seem to have solid prices and at least they can confirm what rims/tires fit for sure.

I was just hoping to find a second-hand set and cut down on my cost a bit. I'd like to get a full wheel/tire set to make transitioning easier in the years to come. If nothing pops up, I'll definitely be ordering from Tirerack though.

I know we're past winter and this thread is ancient, but I'm unloading a set of very light used 17" 2012 OEM Sedan wheels and Michelin tires. Check out my FS post and PM me if still interested.
