  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Looking for a great deal.

I'm looking for a 2012 Equus Signature with low miles and a great price. Preferably white with tan leather or black with tan leather. Any suggestions?

Aren't there websites like Auto-Trader to find used cars?

In my opinion, the best sites are autotrader.com and cars.com. There is some overlap between the two sites.
Bear in mind that Equus production/sales have been very small; and expect very few used Equus listed for sale. Equus have not sold well; and dealers continue to have unsold inventories of last year's model. These are deeply discounted. I can find NEW 2014 Signatures for less than $45K. With this deep discount available on new Equus, then one should expect used Equus to have parallel deep discounts.
Whatever, new or used, I think you will have to travel some distance to find your Equus. You will pay a bit more for a new 2014, but will have the comfort in a new car warranty and the knowledge that there are unlikely to be any surprises. This makes a long distance transaction less risky.
Contrasted, a used 2013 will have a lesser warranty, and may have subtle defects like curbed wheels.

there is a dealership in my area that has a brand new 2014 Equus in white with tan/brown leather
They say its 14K off...but I would try for 20K off
Its at Butler Hyundai in Indianapolis

if that is a price range range you can live with...but keep in mind that as soon as you drive off the lot you basically have a 2 year old user car in terms of value

I was also try sites like Carmax...they seem to have a supply of Equus and K900's

The Genesis and Equus are both fine cars. If you are looking for a used one, there are bargains galore. Especially on the Equus. Prices on a two or three year old Equus Ultimate is about the same as a Signature. The 13s are the last year with vibrating seats and refrigerators. They are not selling well, a lot go through a Hyundai auction as a used car just to get rid of them. Look at AutoTrader and CarsDirect at 2013 cars with low miles. Warranty remaining can be calculated on CarFax, usually included in ad. 2012s have had troubles, but 2013's seem relatively trouble free, and drive great. I got a 2013 Ultimate in 8/14, 12k miles $38k for $67k car, trouble free at current 48k miles.

I got a new 2014 ultimate a month ago for 48...I wouldnt pay more than 43 for a signature. Hit about 10 dealerships and do the deal over text with sales people...
