  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey Everyone,

Looking to the Genesis Owners club shortly, I have been shopping for quite a while, and finally have some good lease figures. I wanted to run it by everyone to see if its a good deal.

Looking to Lease a 2015 3.6 HTRAC Ultimate

(Still choosing color)

Here are the numbers:

Cap Cost: 50,700

3k Rebate back to me in cash

0 down

650 a month with tax

36/12k lease.

Money Factor of .00076

Residual of 61%.

Any help would be much appreciated! I'm coming from a MB C300, and before that a LS460L. Love the new Genesis!

I cannot offer any intelligent comment on the lease figures but I can say this, if you proceed with acquiring a new Genesis you will be happy with it. This is about the closest thing in life I can think of that comes with a guarantee. I'm 65 years old and owned a lot of cars over the years and this is hands down my favorite! (Had a 67 GTO back in the day that was a close second but that's another story.:)) Just do it! And let us all know how you like it.

We have a prices paid discussion in which you can find a ton of useful information but taking a quick look at your numbers the cap cost is high. You should negotiate for a better dealer discount, maybe use truecar to get a feel for Genesis pricing in your area.

I second using truecar.com...

Also, I can't find a 5.0 ultimate anywhere in the northwest. Any ideas?

Just go to your local dealer and tell them what you want and let them try and locate one for you.

log on to cars.com - search inventories - goes up to a 500 mile radius, as I recall. That's how I found mine.

General advice: bypass the dealers as much as possible - the internet is the place to research cars.

Excellent advice. If they find the car for you and (especially) if they trade for it, you will be at their mercy price-wise.
