  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Looking to Sell my OEM Wheels and Tires

Out of curiosity, how well did the new wheels and tires fit up front? The stut setu of our cars limits the rearward offset a good bit, so I’m just curious about your fitment.

Thanks!
The new wheels fit fine front and rear. I'm super busy this week and out of town from Thursday returning next week Sunday. I'll take tons of pictures and provide a lot of information about the specifics of the specifications and fitment so look for that mid next week.

Looks good can you post a pic once you get them mounted
Here are probably more pictures than anyone cares to see but I was over zealous. These pics are all with the new Ace Alloy AFF02 Black Chrome Wheels and Continental Xtreme Contact DWS06 A/S 255/35z/R19 35et front and rear. The limit to upload files here is 10 so here's just one picture and here is a link to a shared Dropbox folder if you want to see the rest of them. I took all the pictures and the one video the same day I brought it home from just having the detailer perform the application of a front end (up to the A-Pillars) Xpel clear paint film, entire car paint correction and ceramic coating entire car including the wheels and calipers.

Just for fun, I added the picture the dealership sent me when they received the car in stock. It was a dark cloudy day and of course it wasn't delivery ready so not washed or anything but it's fun to see the transformation.

Looks amazing! Do you know which product the detailer used - CarPro or Gyeon or something else?

Wow. You weren't kidding when you said you were looking to keep this car for the long haul. I've been looking into ceramic coatings since you mentioned it to me.

Looks really good. I may have missed it but what was the wheel width?

I bought different wheels and tires for my G70 3.3TT Sport. That leaves me with the OEM sport alloy wheels and tires. I'd like to attempt to recover some of my cost for the new ones I bought. Is anyone interested in purchasing the OEM's from me? These are the stock OEM Sport 19" alloy wheels with the Michelin Pilot 4S Summer tires, staggered (of course) so 225/40R19 in front and 255/35R19 in the rear. As of the writing of this post I've put 350 miles on them in total and I'm having them ceramic coated next week. Obviously, since they are stock, they are already balanced, with the OEM tpms, including the genesis wheel center caps. I'm only going to sell them as a full complete set and not going to spend time removing the tires from the wheels so it's all or nothing. I'm just a regular guy so no sales taxes. If you have a serious interest in purchasing them or bartering for something of value to me, please let me know. I'm dropping off my G70 for the paint correction and ceramic coating next Tuesday then picking it back up the following Monday (the 17th) so I don't expect to be putting too many more miles on the car between now and then. I'm under the 600 mile break in period on the car so I've been painstakingly babying the car since I picked it up 6 days ago. For reference, I live in the Chicago land area. Being that these are the OEM staggered setup, maybe someone would like an extra set for rotation purposes saving you money in the long run. Thank you for taking the time to read my post.
Are your runs still available to buy

Here is what I bought and my reasons for doing so. For four months before I bought the car, I searched literally about 2,000 different wheels (rims) and overthinking the entire process of staggered or not. I searched all over online and whenever I found something I thought I would like, I used an app on my phone to copy the image and paste it on a picture of a Mallorca Blue G70 to see what they would look like. Now we all know by now that all the pictures of the G70's do not photograph very well compared to how the colors look in person which was part of my angst and frustration throughout the process but it did help a little. You need to be extra cautious if you are going to change the wheel/tire size if you stay with staggered because all the tires need to have the same diameter otherwise you're fubar'd. With all the research I've done, if you need help just ask and I'm sure I'll have the answers for you as far as what will and will not fit.
At the time when I was at the Chicago Auto Show and seeing the oem wheels in person I didn't really care for the look. But when I picked up my car I fell in love with them (probably because they were now officially mine). Then a few days later I got my new wheels/tires delivered to me that I had already purchased. When I opened them up and put one up against the front existing wheel, I had to change my shorts I loved the look so much better. The goal was to buy the new wheels and tires then sell the oem's to recover some of the cost and by purchasing all the same size instead of staggered I would save money in the long run with tire rotations since I'm not a racing kind of guy (although I might be now). Anyway, I purchased the Ace Alloy AFF02 Black Chrome wheels bundled as a package with Continental Xtreme Contact DSW06 tires of all the same size of 255/35zr19, with TPMS, mounted, balanced with black chrome lugs and free shipping from California. btw....for reference, I live five minutes from Woodfield Mall in the Schaumburg area 20 minutes west of O'hare Airport. And I bought my G70 from Jon Muehl at Rosen Genesis in Algonquin after extensive research of all the other dealers in Illinois and Minnesota, Michigan, St Louis, Indiana and even as far as Portland OR all the way to Maryland because what I wanted was impossible to find anywhere in the U.S. which is 2019 G70 3.3TT AWD Sport in Mallorca Blue, black with red stitch interior. Any way, here is a picture I took yesterday of the wheel/tire I just had delivered it's just in front of the oem but you get the idea of what it will look like when it's mounted on the car. Lastly, if you are going to buy new wheels/tires do so asap because depending on the brand, due to the Tariffs the prices are going to increase between 8% - 13% ( I know that for a fact that the Niche brand is increasing by that much and it's industry wide and will go into effect starting June 15th so you have only 9 days before that happens)View attachment 20664

Any recommendations on where to sell stock New OEM 18” G70 wheels with New tires besides a local scrap junk yard?

I purchased wheels for my 2019 G70.
