  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

LOL I just did a search in LA for inventory and it seems between 2 dealers in LA there are 27 Genesis V6.

I wonder if they will get as many V8's tp chose from?

Unless I'm mistaken, dealerships are usually rewarded (in this case, with the Genesis) when they sell a lot of vehicles...

All dealers of any type, motorcycle, boats, planes or cars, get alloted inventory based on their sales figures.

Therefore Fletcher Jones Mercedes gets the first SLR for public sales, and some MBZ dealer in Idaho doesn't.

Douglas Hyundai Santa Ana had 9 Genesis sedans the last I looked and had already sold 15 this month. His same owned dealership in Irvine got maybe 4, they don't do as many sales even though same owner.

So big volume sales gets the inventory.

Makes sense.

Yeah - makes perfect sense. The local dealer here (Sacramento) had over 20 V6s on their lot (possibly over 25). They claim to be the highest volume/largest Hyundai dealership in California, so it does make sense that they would get a huge shipment right off the bat.

I'm just hoping that makes them much more willing to deal on the price when I finally decide to pull the trigger.
