  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Model Type
2G Genesis Sedan (2015-2016)
Issues with 2015 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 AWD
The
LKAS
PSB
TPMS
SCC warning lights are all on.
Along with the EPB and AUTO HOLD light.
Tachometer/speedometer, temp gauge, and ODO not working. Rear defrost not working. Drive mode button not working. And power steering is not working. Backup camera image does not come in when in reverse and no light indicators (turn signals/headlights) light up when on, but the lights themselves work. And the HUD is dim, speed doesn’t change. The car runs and drives fine, minus no power steering. I swapped the instrument cluster after a friend at the dealership scanned for codes and thought the cluster was the issue. This did not solve the problem.

Sounds like a CAN bus problem. Possibly one of the modules is killing communications.

I’ve attached photos of the issues. Any advice??

If you feel like tackling this yourself, download the service manual from Google Drive. I put the link up recently on another thread. In the manual there are diagrams of the CAN bus circuitry and photos showing connector locations.

Best approach is to disconnect (may need to make two CAN hi/lo bypass wires) groups of modules until you find the problem. My car had the same warnings as yours (along with others) and eventually narrowing it down to the electronic parking brake.

Search for 'CAN bus'. Lots of info here.

Fuel module didn’t change the issue it seems. I disconnected the battery for 20 minutes while replacing it
Sorry to hear that. Some other module or a wiring short/open is causing problems on the data bus.
