  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Guys -

Magnaflow needs a 4.6 Sedan to develop a stainless cat-back exhaust. They will need the car for one week, mon-fri, you will be compensated with a free exhaust for your time.

I'd be all over this if it were SoFlo... :-\

I am anxious for the magnaflow system - I had Magnaflow in my 2001 Lightning and it was slick (fit the sound I was lookin for).

Yes please:D Hope someone brings there car in soon so MagnaFlow can get a kit done for the car. Wouldn't mind taking off my setup for the actual cat-back system.

Your the Man! Thank you. I put a set of Magnaflow mufflers on my 4.6 and they sound great, but I do get some drone in 1500-1800rmp range under light load. I'm hoping the official Magnaflow system will be a catback and eliminate the drone. I think your going to love the sound when Magnaflow is done with your car. Mine has a kind of exotic high end powerful sound, if that makes sense. Please keep us posted.

I am a big fan of the throaty rumble of a V-8. The 800 HP 454 in our boat was the best! But alas I can't bring myself to touch the exhaust as I have never heard such a silent yet powerfull engine as the Tau.

E-mailed and left a message for Gabe, still haven't heard back yet. Will check back in when i hear from him.

That is by far the best exhaust "video" I've ever seen! I'm seriously into Corvettes and have had a number of aftermarket systems - and I've listened to a lot of video clips. Yours should be sent to every exhaust manufacturer as an example of how to do it.

THANKS

ok guys im also waiting for this catback system to see whats it going to sound like & the price, i have magnaflow mufflers on my genesis already & love em but i might brake down for something else by them, maybe lol

Thanks JJ, that's nice to hear. I've sent the video to the company that I purchased the items from and also to Magnaflow. Apperently neither car about it, and I have yet to receive a response. But yet, they both yield other car exhaust videos. Maybe I should check again to see if they added the video to their site.

I picked up my car from Magnaflow today. Thanks to Gabe. My car sounds really good. Nice rumble, not too loud at WOT. Cruising, some droning and rumble bellow 2k rpm. At over 2k rpm, it is as quiet as stock. I love these magnaflow. Gabe took pictures and video of the exhaust, hopefully he'll post them up soon
