Mapnsoft v14 on the Horizon

Noticed something odd regarding version 14. The voice accuracy has diminished in my Santa Fe but works fine in my G70
Go figure.

I had this happen once before on an older map and a reinstall cured it!

Not sure if the severity justifies a reload. Remember I said demised. Right now, my simple “Go Home” command no matter how loud or slow I say it starts up the am radio. Not so on my G70. While we're at it, I miss the days like on my 2011 Genesis when I could issue a simple command like “navigate to Bill” and the system took the name of the entry on my list called Bill and set up the route automatically. I don’t know if any of our posters can remember that option. Didn’t realize we would not see that simplicity again. I understand we’ve gained a lot technology to these new systems since then and personally I enjoy the changes but the lost of that option for me was a bad oversight.

I wish we could say Play Artist Megadeth and the USB would do it. Annoying to have to use the touch screen but I guess they expect AA and Carplay to be the primary music sources these days.

I actually miss the voice command on my Acura TL. It even let you control the AC temperature via voice separately for driver and passenger!

Ford does that too. I thought it was so tedious to tell the car, in 3 steps, to change my temp instead of me flipping a switch.

Opened a case with Genesis thru the Owners.Genesis portal and the Mapnsoft portal.

The Genesis Portal was absolutely no help. they didn't even know what I was talking about. Mapnsoft said this,

I have updated to my 2019 G70 to Mapnsoft version "2019 Genesis G70 Map Update 141S5_A" and now can no longer find multiple settings and features.

In the manual on page 3-135 I should have a setting to enable disable the Smart Vent and the Auto Defog (See attachment).

Also, I can no longer see the option to route to a previous starting point. See second attachment.

Thus, I am asking how do I control and use these features now? Moreover, there appears to be no "Climate Settings screen anymore".

Again, three features are missing that are described in the manual:

1) Smart Ventilation and its settings
2) Auto defog and its settings
3) Ability to route to a previous starting location

...I have escalated this and am waiting for a reply back to your other questions. In regards to your third question, about routing previous starting locations, it seems that it was purposely removed based on HMC(Hyundai Motor Corp.)'s decision.

That sucks about the previous starting point. I loved and used that feature allllllll the time.

Anyone else notice the 2 options in Climate settings are now gone with v14?
It was 2 checkboxes. One was Smart Vent and something else I can’t remember.
the Setting option is there but it doesn’t take you to the Climate options anymore and I can’t find it anywhere!

I updated the map last week after purchasing my G70 and noticed that the options are still there, but they have moved into separate sub-menus.

In the manual, both checkboxes are displayed at the same time. In my car, after the latest update they are here:

I am in Atlanta GA, USA. I downloaded the update from the website, onto the sd card that came with the car (which came in a bag with map version NAM.12.47.44.510.105.4).

The car is a 2020 G70 with manufacture date 6/20/2019.

Let me know if the download fixes it. Mine was updated on May 21st. Took about 10 days to get the SD card in from California!

Installed today with new SD card in the US. Took ~25 min. Only drove it around for 30 min but no issues here so far!

Found first error while in set route yesterday. Nothing dramatic but notable. The exit name on parkway was right but the number was wrong. (on the NAV screen). I also had a few errors on version 13 and 13.5. Wouldn’t be a big deal expect that I hardly ever use the set route option so it’s that easy to find errors on a fairly close trip I’d have to be very cautious on a long one.
