  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Mapnsoft v14 on the Horizon

Just updated today. Went smoothly. But now I don’t get my phone battery level or signal strength on the display anymore...

This went away a few versions ago-only viewable on the phone screen. I think it was a bad decision.

Ed you obviously haven't driven in the state of Georgia. :p

I actually found that in and around Atlanta people were passing me if I was driving 80, and I'm from Texas, where you're pretty likely to find someone in a pickup truck doing 85.

That’s really annoying. I wish they would update the Bluetooth streaming screen too. The titles always get cut off and there’s no album art.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Can I copy my iTunes library to USB drive to play it?

The iTunes database files won't do anything in the car, but if you copy all the actual music files that iTunes references to a USB drive, yes they will play. Files aren't "stored" inside iTunes; let me know if you need more info on that, happy to explain :)

No Genesis love for me. Hyundai case with the USB! 2020 G80 Sport

I'm sure that will improve with the new G80 redesign since the old G80 was technically still the "Hyundai Genesis Sedan" from 2015 right?

The map screen is much prettier, especially under routing. I keep the map in night mode all the time and it's much easier to read and seems more detailed.

What are the small triangles dotted on my nav screen. I do not recall those before? (see photos above)

The previous version labeled the streets in normal map format, aligned with the street. Thanks for the help.

So logging into the map soft site, I can't seem to find a download link after I select my vehicle and enter the VIN. Any help would be appreciated.

When I first signed up and entered my new car's VIN, it took a few weeks before I could download the map update.

The site says the downloadable version will be available May 15th.

Read the web page about availability and come back in a week or so.

Wow. A post about download availability, today!?! 🤦‍♂️

Some people's children.

I seem to recall a post that the newest map and firmware update eliminates the display of the paired cell phone signal strength and cell battery charge. Is that true?

So I was playing around a little bit with the new software. The "sounds of nature" or whatever they're called are exactly what my wife's new Kia Seltos has. Honestly, I kind of like it. Hah.
