Yet people were posting pics of the update. Considering I don't think anyone would pay $25 to have something a week early, there possibly could have been a download link already.

If you are in the US
First, you have a G70 so the update is free, on the SD card.

Second, for those that paid $25 there is a convenience factor.

In Canada , for my G70, also easy process, ordered my SD card yesterday and clicked to have it payed by Genesis Motors Canada. No payment required.

are your sd cards branded Genesis? my stock one is branded Genesis but the new one is branded hyundai on the sd card too. oh well, probably doesn't care about Canadians as much

Read them all - and in Canada it’s free for the 5 years. Anyone know how we Canadians rated 5 years concierge/coverage vs the 3 years US. Is it because we are so polite

Ongoing observations of version 14 map.
First let me say for me map version 13 was so far the most error free one I’ve used. I installed it on my G70 and my Santa Fe worked like a charm. Then I installed 13.5 in the G70 as I wasn’t about to spend any money on updates on the Santa Fe for a while. I found a couple of frustrating errors in the application with regards to locating an address. After verifying it with my cell phone luckily, I didn’t use it for that address. Funny thing is if I send the address from the cell phone to the car (G70) I get in and upon starting it’ll ask if I want to go to the planned route and It’s correct. The same one that was previously wrong. Ok so version 14 gets installed and it has some real nice eye candy. Let’s see if it can do the basic thing right. First, I try the send route to car function on my app. Looks good feedback on phone says “success”. I go to the car start it up expecting to see something like “There is a planned route do you want to use it” like it normally does on both my cars. No message! I don’t understand I know it said success. Well what the hell I’ll just put in manually. No go it can’t find the address even worded different ways. Frustrated I get my cell phone plot he routed in google maps put the car in drive and start moving when I hear “Do you want to use the planned route” and there’s now a visual cue on the nav screen showing the planned route. Obviously on this version the audible visual que will only come on when the car starts moving. Don’t think I like that not to mention it couldn’t find it with manual inputs. I’ not sure what’s going on here if this is just with my car (unlikely) so some feedback from you guys would be greatly appreciated.

From all apps choose Connected Services. Then Send to Car. Boom.

And now they also added the send to car list under previous destinations.

Ok, I checked, mine had the same old pop up upon starting.

The send to car is actually under address book now, not previous destinations.

Tried it today to see if it still worked. Yes, same as before, popped right up on the screen when I started. Mine is a G80 so may be a different version.

Yes Ed I'm pretty sure there is a difference for the G80 with jog dial as it was for my Genesis Ultimate.

I updated today and as a consequence am now having issues with my SiriusXM radio station icons; some stations icons are missing while others are mismatched.

I was also hoping the updated map would include changes to city speed limits from earlier this year; more disappointment. And to anyone wondering, the update does in fact remove the phone charge indicator from the display. Overall, I'm not too impressed with how buggy the update is.

For the record, not all of us are having those issues. My connected services are working great, i really appreciate the new look, and the updated music interface is a nice little upgrade.

Never really cared about the phone battery indicator, as it wasn't very accurate to begin with. Even so, the previous version was still good, so it's not a big loss to skip this version.

Yeah, what bugs? The SiriusXM issue could easily be their issue and not Genesis.

The map looks are worth it.

Only thing I have noticed that bugs me is there seem to be be POI that can't be disabled. For example, I now see a stylized Walmart and Best Buy POI that cannot be turned off. Not the end of the world, really.
