I can't seem to get all three of these into memory though I have read the manual carefully.
When I press start the steering wheel goes into place. If I press 1 on the memory the seat moves into place, but I thought this was supposed to happen when I pressed the start button. Any ideas?
Thanks.
From the 2009 sales brochure, some things that separate the various options packages... let's figure out what your car is:Thanks, Mike for your thorough reply. I bought the car with 4100 miles on it and I don't know what packages (if any) it has.
I thought so. It should be a setting with their GDS tool. On Tech package cars, either the GDS tool or the car's own DIS knob can turn easy access ON/OFF for the steering and seat in the "variant" menus. Looking through the service manuals, I don't see any specific mention of easy access settings for non-Tech cars so maybe there isn't such an option. I thought others had posted though they'd had this changed by their dealer on non-Tech cars. The service manuals that I have are over a year old now; and I know they are missing a lot of info. Time to re-download them I guess...Are you saying that even if I don't have the tech package the dealer can fix the easy access seat to get it to move with the steering wheel?
