I have a 2014 R Spec. Today as I was getting onto an off ramp, a red warning emblem showed up on my center display screen (the small one between the tach and speedometer) but I was unable to grab my glasses and determine what it was before it turned off. The location was in the upper left center of the screen. Would it be possible to hook up a diagnostic tool to the computer to see what this indicated? Thanks for any assistance.
 
It's probably the notorious "CAUTION" symbol. I assume you heard a beep along with it?

It happens when there is a sudden reduction in the radar distance between you and whatever is in front of you. It's pretty useless IMO. I find it goes off when someone in front of me is signaling to turn right and I cut it a little close behind him before he turns.

I have had it happened too ...an orange 'Caution' with lined out circle. It seems to happen even on straight roads when an oncoming car is too close to yellow line. It is kind of disturbing.

I personally dont care for that icon popping up. I have seen it in closing situations where someone ahead of me is turning. I have found myself distracted by the flashing symbol and beep. It wasn't really due to surprise, but because i wanted to know what the alarm was for. When I looked up, I was MUCH closer to the guy turning in front.
If there is someone turning in front of me, and I hear the beep, I just ignore it.
There has to be record of someone crunching a car because of this "feature"
I am a very careful driver and have been distracted by it.
