  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I saw the information about Motozuma discount on here a while back and setup an account. I have the $500 of my own money plus $500 in matching funds setup on there already. I put it in 21 days ago. So of course today the dealer gets an R-Spec available as basically a 1 day take it or leave it deal. and I'm still 9 days away from the 30 day waiting period. Is there any way around that or am I pretty much stuck either passing on the R-Spec or passing on the $500 in matching fund+$25 account closing fee? I just didn't know if Motozuma would make any exceptions or if the dealer could wait to put it through or something. I would ask the dealer, but they are barely even aware of Motozuma. Thanks!

I would ask Motozuma and the dealer, they make the call there, I don't think they would make any exceptions for the 30 day rule

You could always try the "I want the deal, but it will take a 5 to 7 business days for my loan check to arrive." My friend just purchased a new Sonata, but was waiting on an insurance check that would be another 3 to 5 days, and the finance manager said they would hold a personal check until the insurance check came in. With the weekend coming up, and 5 to 7 business days, that should get you to the 30 day mark.

Put your deposit on the car via credit card to hold the car. Motozuma does NOT have to be the inital one and only deposit, but can be layered with another deposit as per the motozuma personel I have spoken to.

Then once your motozuma acct. matures print it off and give it to your dealer to take advantage of the additional 500 dollar savings incentive.

As people said above, I think only way to make both ends meet is put a deposit on the car (around $500) wait for it to mature then use the acct.
$500 is quite a money.
