Hasn't posted much yet...
I started a new thread since I couldn't find one related to MP3 Tag formats. I have a 160gb Passport drive setup with close to 23,000 songs. They are stored on the Drive by Artist(folder), Album(Sub Folder) with individual songs.
This is working, yes it goes stupid now and then and has to be restarted. It normally starts back up where it left off when you turned the car off. I wish I had this in every car I own.
Problem: MP3's have been downloaded and ripped from my collection. The format of each songs file name is
Artist-Album-Song Title i.e. "Don McLean - American Pie - American Pie.mp3"
The display is not large enough to display anything more then:
'Don McLean - American P' for every track of the album.
What utility can be used to go through my Drive and change each and every file name to Song Title: i.e. "American Pie.mp3" which would then display as "American Pie" on the Display of the car.
Have 4,850 miles on 4.6, Love this car. Biggest annoyance, people trying to hang with you at 90 mph trying to figure out what it is. Note: Rear Badge has been upgraded.
Update: I found and tested this program and I think Problem Solved. Need to wait until Lunch to go out and try it.

Free Utility will in one pass (23,000 songs) take current file name and convert to whatever format you want. I choose to convert file name to "track#-Title". Will give an update this afternoon.
