Has anybody experienced their Genesis hesitating when you push the throttle down slowly rather than quickly accelerating. It acts like if you had a carbureted engine and a bad accelerator pump on the carb, it hesitates for a moment, (to say, it needs to catch its breath), then takes off? My dealership says that's normal and I'm nuts! The car has less than 10,000 miles on a new factory fresh 3.8 Liter engine due to a defect in the original engine! Bought the car, 81 miles later, (next morning) started engin up in my garage and the top end shit the bed. Dealership had car for 4 weeks. Got to say Hyundai stood by the CPO warranty! Anyway talked to Hyundai customer service gave me a case number. I then went to dealership, their mechanic drove car with me and he said i'm being too picky, the computer has to think what it needs to do? I told both the mechanic and the service manager it never did this before or after the new engine was installed. I have driven other Genesises same as mine and those did not drive that way. Can I get some advice from you folks out there? Anybody might have experienced this or know what to do to correct it. It's driving me crazy!
