My bluetooth is not working & im mad as hell

my BLACKBERRY STORM (verizon) was working fine since i brought the car (Nov 08) in my 4.6 v8 then all of a sudden today it wouldnt connect at all so i tried it over & over & over again but it still wouldnt connect, so i deleted genesis off of my blackberry to reinstall it & deleted it from the car & tried to reinstall & after going to connect on the screen in the car & pair, nothing happens. It wont search for a phone at all so after trying for about 2 hours i went by the dealer today & looked at all those clowns trying to play with my car when i told them what the problem was ( it has to be reset) but now since thier computer is down they cant do anything for me so im out of my bluetooth ( yes im very pissed right about now) I also went by this same dealer (yes i brought my car from them) last week to have my air bag reset as per a TSB but thier computer was down then also, has anyone else had this problem with the bluetooth & got thiers fixed.......?

well to day i went to a HYUNDAI dealer near my job in nyc & what would you know their machince was working and they was able to reprogram my AIR BAG for me & after calling a genesis tech support # and then starting up a brand new genesis on the lot & seeing that my cell was able to snyc with the bluetooth in other genesis's , they discovered that my radio (head unit) needed to be replaced. So they ordered the replacement head unit & made an appointment for me for the following mon 4/13. I guess its safe to say im not going back to the dealer where i brought my car for any more service, ill be going near my job where they took care of me much better than where i brought it

Ive had blackberries for years & it took some time getting used to the touch screen but i love it now & Blackberry has a media snyc so that u can sync all of your ipod songs to your blackberry so i hook that up in the genesis & it plays great & works good with the bluetooth ( that is when the bluetooth was working)

I'm with you too... my Motorola Q9C won't disconnect calls at all... (apparently it is a problem with the phone, as BMW/Infiniti/Garmin BT users are having the same issue). Now the choice is do I get a Samsung Saga, or wait for the new Blackberry Niagara hopefully next month. Hmmmm......

I have an unlocked Motorola L9. Thought I had problems with the car bluetooth as it would connect without ringing in the car. Turned out to be the cell phone (not the car) as I had it set to automaticly connect. Once a cell phone guy looked in my phone, he saw the problem and set the auto connect to OFF. Now the system works perfect.

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE after dropping my car off this morning to get the head unit replaced due to the BLUETOOTH not working, i received a call from the dealer about 2 hours later telling me after taking my car apart they discovered they had the wrong part & after trying to order the right part they couldnt locate it any where in their system & that i would have to wait (needless to say why i got my name MADDMOE) so i called HYUNDAI consumer hotline # & had a case opened up in ref: to this problem (i even suggested that they take a unit off of a new genesis & replace mine , wishful thinking) but needless to say now this is a waiting game to see how long it will take to get a new unit & FIX my genesis's bluetooth & i stressed to them that now i am an unhappy customer

Mine stopped working 5 days ago (iPhone 3G/Gen 4.6 Tech). They have ordered that radio head unit. Yesterday it started working again?? Go figure!
Probably just new car tweaks and debugging needed...

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE ok so now after waiting for a response from hyundai about my non-working bluetooth unit i get a call from the service manager who tells me he has bad news for me that my cell ( blackberry storm ) is not capatiable with the genesis, mind you that it was working fine from the day i brought the car in nov 08, but i tried to explain to the so called service manager that even if i went out & brought a new cell phone that is capatiable with the genesis it wouldnt matter because the car is still not searching for any bluetooth phone AT ALL, when u go to the PAIR PHONE mode nothing happens, you think he would understand this , it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure this out, so now im on the 800 hotline # 800 633-5151 , even the tech that worked on my car figured this out but the service manager must not talk to his tech people !!! needless to say im not MADDMOE any longer im PISS THE F%$K OFF MOE now & IM NOT enjoying my car right about now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE , well to make a long story short after they gave me a rental car for 3 days & they had my genesis ( yes i missed her dearly ) they finally found out that the problem was the head unit & they replaced the unit ($3700) & now my bluetooth works fine again, it seems im not the only one who has had this problem with their genesis also
