If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

obviously this is dealer specific, but here was my first experience:

Dealership experience - Amazing!!! Coming from Mercedes I was used to a good dealership experience and seeing the dealer ALOT! lol I just went in yesterday to Napleton Hyundai in West palm beach for 2 recalls, tires and tail lamp, and saw there were 2 lanes, Equus&Genesis, and then all the other ppl. There were a couple people that had pulled into lane 2 ahead of me, but when I pulled into the Genesis lane they pretty much immediately stopped helping those people and came over and checked me in. Then when I was sitting with the service guy, within a couple minutes he says we're gonna give you a loaner car - that was b/c of the tires. I volunteered to hang out and told him I didn't mind looking at all the cars for a couple hours but he was insistent. At Mercedes they sometimes would flat out deny you a rental if it was less than 4 hrs I believe, and that could have been because they were using enterprise. But the cherry on top was that when we were all done he comes and tells me that I don't ever have to drive to the dealer for service again, they'll come out to me, leave a loaner and pick up my car and return it when it's done! Mercedes certainly never offered to do that!! I'm wondering if this is dealer specific or if all dealers offer this service?? Pretty sweet nonetheless.

My guess is that Hyundai knows they can't give a Mercedes/audi/lexus/bmw whatever prior owner the same experience, so they forego it altogether. From now on my car will be picked up from my office and returned to me there, what could be better?

*there were a couple dark marks near seatbelt area I noticed after, which easily wiped off. I have the ivory interior and pretty much expect this to constantly happen, as I have small children as well. I've never had a light interior before, so I'm not really sure if I should expect anything different, which is why I paid for a protection package that covers stains, spills, rips, etc.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm also considering buying a new Genesis from Napleton in West Palm Beach. I'm glad to hear your experience was positive. What was the sales experience like?

Like most sales men I found unfortunately I know their product better than they do we could've saved the four hours if the guy would've answered my question in the first five minutes which was I can't configure ivory interior with white exterior online is there something wrong with the online configurator or can I get that model and then he called dealerships all over the state trying to find it until he realized they don't make it. but I woke up the next morning kind of feeling sick about what I was about to put down to buy a new vehicle when I've always bought one year Or older two-year-old vehicles in the past so I don't take that initial Hit and I happen to find a sweet deal that morning on auto trader so I didn't hesitate and I snatched it up.

I think you're very lucky to have found a used 2015 Genesis already! And that dealership on Okeechobee Boulevard does look really, really nice. I've been in there a couple of times. My wife wanted the new Genesis badly but bought an SUV instead - still - we liked the experience in that dealership. You have to imagine other dealerships in that area must have been sh*tting bricks when it was being built. It's the nicest lot around. MUCH better than the old Lincoln dealership that used to be there...

If there is a recall, then Hyundai Motor America will usually pick up the cost of loaner. It may be the same for other warranty service, not sure. For routine maintenance or non-warranty service, it is strictly up to the dealer (not Hyundai Motor America) whether to provide a free loaner.

I initially tried to buy my '12 Genesis new from Napleton but they couldn't match the price I got from Coconut Creek Hyundai. In fact they refused to believe the receipt from Coconut Creek after I actually made the purchase.

Any dealer selling a 2017+ Genesis Motors vehicle (G80 or G90) is supposed to provide that concierge service from now on. It was also provided on the old Hyundai Equus.

If it was a Hyundai Genesis (2009-2016) that is up to the dealer.

July 2023….This had to be the WORST car experience I have ever encountered. From selling me a 3.5 model and delivering a 2.5 model after I had been to the dealership and cancelled my original payment for not telling the truth!! Add to the fact that they did not/would not give me a serial number AND the car was delivered WITHOUT a window sticker, I would have not know of the BAIT & SWITCH until I went to insure the car. I now have a copy of the window sticker obtained thru the web site. Of course, the salesman/sales manager refuses to take my call or call me back I have to admit that this company will lie cheat & steal to sell a car. DISGUSTED!
