  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Another big change to the build, just for the winter. Let it be known the Thule "claws" that clamp onto Thule bars, also fit Yakima bars. These are the 50" CoreBars and Baseclip 137 and 163 towers. $291 for all the Yakima hardware. $650 used for the roof box.

The road noise is great, and by great, i mean barely noticeable even at highway speeds. This is only rated for 80 mph, but is incredibly solid, so much so that I think it could make it above 80 (which i'd rather not test). It opens and locks from both sides and feels super high quality. No rattling AT ALL, it attaches to the bars with four "claws" that you crank down until they click. The overhang on the front windshield (in my opinion) looks really cool and doesn't block my view at all.

I'm 99% sure you can still fully open the sunroof with these, because i did when I had actual ski racks on there (with the base towers in the same spot). Either way, really adds to the coolness of the car.

It looks great. What wheels do you have? They look nice.
Are you running different springs?

No problem. I document everything even if nobody cares…i bought a 30 year old 240sx a couple months ago and i only fixed it because of 16 year old forum threads telling me what to do. Hope this can be the same idea for someone wondering if Thule boxes fit Yakima racks lol.

Thanks! MOMO Catania wheels. 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 all +35 with 10mm spacer in the front. I should have gone +23 offset in the front so i wouldn’t need a spacer.

Eibach springs, although my Yellow Speed coils are coming soon, because these springs and shocks feel pretty worn out after 55,000 miles on them.
