My genesis after Tire Changing to Continental in Saudi Arabia

Dear all

in saudi arabia we have a problem with our tires that its blow up without any reason and causing a lot or damages and problems


then the dealership made a recall to change the tires which is (Dunlop Maxx sport Gt) to the same bad tires again if any thing happens or you have an option to change it to 18 wheel size because as standard we always get 19 inch wheels even with V6


i didn't accept to take Dunlop again so i have installed (Continental Contisport Contact 5P) which its available in Saudi Arabia


as per Tirerack.com its a perfect tire


as my testing it this is the 3rd day its wonderful

No road noise

so smooth

it have a great grip and the traction light didn't ever appears to me ever

it so sticky on turns and it giving me a good performance


i knew that you will have Continental on your cars the 19 inch wheels

but it will be (continental pro contact) type as its a recall for you

but try high summer performance tires and you will like what your car can give you

I had seen early reports about the Genesis tires exploding in Saudi Arabia. I'm guessing that the tire they're using can't handle the heat? In any case it's good that you found a viable replacement.
