My new 2012 Genesis 4.6!

I looked and didn't see a forum for posting all our Gennies, so I wanted to share some picks of my new ride. I have never really owned a car this nice in my whole life, and I am pushing 60 real hard, so I thought to myself, it may be now or never! I drove 500 miles to pick it up last Tuesday. Color is Champagne Beige Metallic, which wouldn't be my first choice, but the deal was good. The lighting was pretty uneven and not so good for photos, but you get the idea. I had to manipulate the files a bit.

I'm not a fan of that color on most cars, but on a Genny it rocks.

Love that color too! I didn't realize how many silver/gray/black cars there are until I bought my Platinum (Grey) Genesis. I will not buy a grey car again. Everybody has them. I'll tell you something else: the pictures do not do this color justice. I saw this same color Genesis in a doctor's parking lot (smart fella) and this color on our car is truly nice.

Champagne is probably my least favorite car color. I've always thought it made any car look cheap.

In all honestly your car looks great. The Champagne looks very good on the G. Plus your car doesn't look like every other G which, as Vince2 pointed out, is black or gray.

Well, you may be on to something as to why I was able to get the deal I did. They said it had been on the lot for over 45 days.

Congrats, welcome and a beautiful car. I've got a friend that also has a 2012 3.8 in that same color. And I agree it looks better even in person. My previous SUV was that color and the best thing was how little dirt it showed.

Nice! I could be wrong, but I think the gold on the 2012s is slightly different than that on the previous years.

Very nice colour, we can't even get that in Canada now.
But I still love my 2010, nicest car I've ever owned

Beautiful car. I also like the color. I think it's good to have something that stands out a little from the black and silver cars out there, which is why I got mine in cabernet red. I second guessed myself a lot on that color as I was making the decision, but every time I look at it I am glad I went with a "non-standard" color.
