  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Well guys, the time had come. I sold the Altima to a 19 year old around here for $5700 with both sets of wheels and all the stock parts. Cash deal...looks like its going to a good home.

So what did I buy?! This:

2009, 27k miles. A few small stone chips here and there but were repaired. The guy who owned it was a snow bird from PA and went to FL every winter. It was tinted by him and rebadged by him.

I got the car for $24,500 +TTL and warranty. I am paying 393 a month for 5 years. Not terrible ha. Warranty covers everything including the electronics.

This car is SO comfortable that it made me realize that the Altima seats we're rock fcuking hard.

I will be replacing the trunk lights as well as the footwell lights with LED's.

Any suggestions for matching the Genesis interior lights? I would assume the "5000k" LEDs? lol. A link would help :)

Also, I was thinking about blacking out the chrome and going with a silver an black theme...any comments on that? I look forward to hearing your opinions!!

I got my interior leds from Amazon.com Working great for over a year now.

Congrats! Looks exactly like the 2011 4.6 CPO with 8810 miles that I picked up two days ago, minus the badges and tint. I also got rid of an Altima before getting the Genesis.

Need to get rid of those H wheel caps.

Nice car…noticed something unusual. There’s the “DIS” knob on center console designating a tech package but no “Smart Cruise” windows on front grille. Is that unique to the 2009 model ? Was it available in 2009 ?

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
The 2009 models didn't have the smart cruise control.

Congratulations! You've been running with the pack here so long, I'd forgotten you hadn't joined the club yet! Great choice. I really like the 1-tone interior.

Hahaha thanks! I am quite knowledgeable about these cars from working there. Figured I would join up ;).

Technically its a two tone interior. The brown on black lol

^ LOL!!! Better than drilling holes in my bumper. I am probably going to use some toggle bolts and bolt it to the lower grille for now until I can convince myself that $45 is the right price for a hide away license plate bracket -.-

Congrats on your Genny :) ...I like the color combo !

Thanks! Believe it or not, I fought long and hard to get this car up here. Had it dealer searched and driven up from PA to NY. Only one I found within 500 miles with this color combo :)

2 tone ?? Another one (two) of my typos!

Nice car, looks pretty much the same as my '10 4.6 but mine doesn't have the wings, and i have 20" wheels

As far as the silver and black theme, i wouldn't do it, but i'm not a big fan of it in the first place.
For a car that is more basic and less luxury it looks good, everything murdered out with some flat black or satin black wheels really does it.
But i find with the genny that i really like the chrome accents everywhere. I also purchased some aftermarket 20's that are bushed aluminum centers with polished lips, so it really brings the whole look together.
The stock wheels are kind of bland and flat (colorwise) for the car IMO

good luck and enjoy!
