  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Looks nice - mind sharing cost?

looks good! did you get TPMS sensors too? What happens if they are missing, anybody know? is it just a light that turns on? or the screen that monitors just shows nothing?

Answer to the first question 3150$ CDN ( all with taxes and Nuts )

Second Questions, no TPMS they are from Hyundai 800$ freaking crazy, the only thing it does is a yellow triangle in the dash... something I can live with

Also you have to have them program each freaking season.... another 200... and the dealer told me that it's possible I have to get the summer TPMS re-program... another 200

Long live the yellow triangle :-)

Odd, I had after market TPMS sensors put on my summer set up at the local tire shop. No reprogramming by the dealership needed. Got all 4 for $200. Zero yellow triangle.

When I had my winter tires installed on the OEM wheels, I did get the yellow triangle but after driving about a km, the TPMS adjusted themselves and the light disappeared..

Yeah i have see tpms sensors listong super cheap online. Wonder if they work.

Any reason you didnt go with smaller size? Just wanted nice style for winter?

I was thinking of dropping down to 18 or 17 so wondering if there was issues with droppinf or just your preferance

Good to know, my dealer told me they would need to be reprogram, but if you installed yours ( and generic one ) and didn’t need it, great news

Even knowing that I’m not sure I want to have them installed I really don't mind the yellow triangle

The Main reason is that if I like the Winter Looks better, they will be my summer setup and the original one will become the winter setup, not sure yet :-)

yeah, saw that listing! they are confirmed working? so it's just a generic sensor not car specific

These are not generic, they are the original Hyundai units, same part number with the Hyundai logo on the part and on the sealed bag. In other words, same as your dealer would sell them to you over the counter. ;)

Personally I hate seeing warning lights on my dash, plus I like the option of monitoring the tire pressure changes from the comfort of my car during our crappy Canadian winters. lol

oh yeah...didn't mean are they knock offs...just that they work with any hyundai, not car specific

probably gonna order them up. i assume dealer has to program them? or any tire place can?

More pictures, tried them on Saturday for fun, I like both styles. One is more aggressive sporty look and the other more classy, will be hard to choose with goes when
