  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2010 Genesis sedan with the Tech package and I noticed I no longer have an option within the settings menu to change the directional view of the NAV screen. The direction of travel is always pointing upward regardless of my actual direction of travel. I have not had any NAV upgrades, so I'm not sure how I lost the menu option. Any suggestions out there?

check page 232 of your DIS manual for map orientation in the map options menu.

Are you asking about switching from "North Up" view to "Heading" view? That's not in the "Settings" menus displayed when you press the console "NAV" button; it is in the immediate settings: with the map displayed, push the DIS knob down. A menu of a few settings should display on the right including the view selector.
