  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Greetings all.

I just bought my 2012 Genesis 4.6 Premium/Tech a week ago and I'm still learning the ropes - made much easier by this site thanks very much.

Anyhoo ... I was wondering if there was a way to load POIs into the Nav from a USB stick? Or do I have to sit in there and create them one by one?

Thanks in advance.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by create them. The POI's are already in your NAV. You look up POI, then you can select the POI by catagory, etc and it goes on and on.

Am I missing something:confused:

I am referring to custom POIs, like "Home".

Some GPSs have the ability to load custom POIs without having to create them through the device.

Scott,

This system has no provision for entering your own custom POI's, although you can enter destinations via the Nav Address book.

Re your mention of "Home", there is already a destination in the book with that Title. Just go there and input your home address. See p 254 of the Driver Information User's manual for specifics on how to store addresses.
