  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2009 mazda 6 right now and I want to give it to my wife once i'm done with the car, she gets her license next summer soo I can get a 2010 genesis coupe and keep the car in the driveway for a year or drive the mazda until the 2011 comes out and still have the car in the driveway all winter or I can wait till 2012 and hopefully they'll be a brand new genesis coupe or other things that hyundai may have to offer.

I really need help with this

and if anyone knows what the 2012 year will have to offer and if it's worth waiting for.

In 2012 will the genesis coupe offer alot more? supercharged v6? powerful v8??

LEt me know what you think

Thanks!!

Hi: Buying a car is like getting on to an esculator at a shopping mall, they never stop, they are always moving either up (more expensive) or down, (dropping some of the things they had before). Who knows... another analogy is buying a computer or a cell phone, they never stop with upgrades and price changes. My way of thinking is if you see what you want then buy it.

You could also consider a lease, that way you will have the option of buying or upgrading at a later date. You might decide that the car you have leased is the car you want. In this case you simply by the lease out.

What do you think now??

You could be right but there is also nothing wrong with the mazda and the bad thing about getting the 2010 or 2011 genesis would just leave the mazda to sit there.

I guess no one has a clue what changes there could be in the 2012 one even limited information on the 2011 model.

I just think that alot can happen in a year, and hyundai is a growing company so i wouldnt want a 2010 or 2011 and be furious when I see a brand new 2012.

i'd say for the 2010, 2012 is a really long time, you don't know what will happen in that time. take your opportunity while it's still there :)
