  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The review mentions "We love the smooth, solid feel of the bottom-hinged accelerator; it’s hefty enough that you can tap out a tune on it while cruising without affecting vehicle speed, but the pedal is completely linear in operation when you apply real pressure."

Compared to my 2012 genesis, which would jerk forward with a light tap on the accelerator, on the 2015 I have to push harder to deliver acceleration. For me, I prefer the 2012 pedal.

Luxury = less sensitive pedals.
Sporty = touchy pedals.

The comments are always entertaining. Gives some different insight into how the car and brand is perceived outside of these forums.

Regarding Autobytel video Review

1. I personally like the rims on the V6 better. (Personal preference) Though as noted on other posts different parts of the world get different configurations. Some get the V8s wheel configuration on the V6.
2. All you have to do is stand 3ft or further from the back and the trunk won’t open…duh.
3. Yes it’s a luxury car not a sport sedan.
4. Judging from the video your seat is all the way up sort of an SUV perspective (Notice the distance between top of his head and the roof of car) maybe that’s why you can’t get in the car. Reset seat / mirror option obviously not set. I’m 6 ft. have no such trouble.

Ernie - you may be referencing the Autobytel review which was a video review.

Two things I kind of like about this Car & Driver review. First, they may have a little more credibility than the bloggers and journalists who have written SO MANY reviews (kind of tired of them, actually). Second, they reviewed the basic V6 without any packages at all - thus they didn't get wrapped up in all the whiz-bang gadgetry. They just focused on the basic car.
