You would not buy the first model year of anything, yet you've regretted it 4 of 5 times??!! hhhmmmmmmmm........I would not buy the first model year of anything. That's a rule that has served me very well over the years, and I have regretted breaking it 4 out of 5 times. You can get a left over '13 for peanuts, and there are almost no differences between that and a '14. In 2-3 years the bugs will have been worked out of the new car, the prices will be lower (CPO's will also be available), and you'll be at a good spot in it's life to sell the '13 privately. FWIW.
And you're not going to get a '13 for peanuts...... I promise you, they won't lose money.... that's marketing hype that too many people actually believe.
For the OP, just wait and get the car you want. You'll lose your arse if you try to trade twice in two years.
