  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

As the name states I'm also a owner of a couple other great sports cars but now finally I and my wife are proud owners of a 2010 coupe track package in tsakuba red fully loaded. We got it at frank Hyundai in national city. One of the best salesman I have ever dealt with and I've dealt with alot of them. Definitely avoid Hyundai/Subaru in Kearny there was a tall bald salesman there with a horrible attitude and we were very unhappy with the service.

However the national city dealer was so nice and helpful I didn't mind paying full price for the car which IMHO for what we got 34.5 otd wasn't very bad after military rebate.

But my first impression of the car is it's just amazing and I'm coming from a supra and Evo lol. It's not as fast as they are stock for stock but I see alot of potential for improvement and I am here to learn all of this as well as the problematic areas as well.

I am actually a vendor on other forums for auto detailing because I use to do it professionally for 10yrs before I got into my current career field.

If you have any other questions please lmk.

Honestly, it all depends on how and what your going to use the car for. Theres so may reasons to get both its rediculous but there are a few key factors that will make the difinitive factor depending on what you want and what your looking for.

To sum it up quickly. As far as performance is concerned if you like brute power and want to be very competitive in the 1320 id go supra hands down. Also the supra has always been a car that has been respected by all generations which the evo lacks as of right now but it is catching up rather quickly. Also the supra does tend to look alot sexier than the evo. I personally like them both but when both have been done right they both look amazing. If you like tq the supra is the car to get as well! The evo lacks in this department compared to a supra. It really does depend on what your going to use the car more for.

On the other hand, I have said it before; I will say it again the evo is dollar for dollar, pound for pound the best car on the market today. And here is why: the car isnt the best at any one thing other than rally but recently ford has captured that venue, its very good at 1320, circuit, autox, rally, time attack, snow, dirt/gravel, gt, and even drift, the best thing about it imho is it can do all of that and still have 4 doors, a big boot, somewhat economical, put a baby seat in the back seat, have a snowboard rack and go to town. And you get all this for a reasonably low price depending on yr and trim. You can pick up an 03 evo for 15k or you can go 2010 evo X MR for 40k. Regardless its a great price for what you get.

If you have any other questions please feel free to ask. The reason why I got both was because I wanted the best of both worlds. Have 1 1320 car that can also be used as a streetable car and also have 1 track car that can also be used as a streetable car as well. I do respect all forms of car racing
