  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey everyone, I just climbed aboard the genny train and so far, I am pleased. It has 33k on the clock, and everything seems fine this far (after 3 days, it had better be running fine).
My question for you guys: are there any issues I should be aware of? Helpful upgrades or modifications? I have noticed the sound system to be lacking some low range oomph, and throttle response isn't exactly bimmer grade (not that I expect it to be, but a guy can dream), but other than that, it seems pretty awesome.
Thanks!

Thank you! I just realized a big minus today: how are there no usb or aux jacks in the center console? I am still scratching my head trying to figure it out.

There is a flat compartment right above the gear shift knob that slides open towards the front of the car
Haha yes, I saw that, but I meant the enormous bin under the arm rest.

Nope, you're outta luck! I use a usb plug in one of the 12volt holes

Dang. I wonder how much it would cost to have a plug installed in the center console.

Or in the rear somewhere. Why on earth are there no usb ports or a 12v plug in the backseat???!!!
