I picked up my 2015 3.8 RWD Santiago Silver Ultimate this morning.
Of course, I've got a question that I can't find an answer to. What's the clamp thingie (note the use of a very technical term) on the inside of the trunk lid? You can see what I'm referencing on page 3-54 of the Owner's Manual.
Homelink paired right up with my garage door opener and pairing my old LG Revere cell phone through Bluetooth was a snap. It downloaded all my contacts so fast I thought it didn't work. Sure was easier than doing the Bluetooth pairing with my 2011 MKZ.
One unfortunate thing has happened already. When they handed me the keys, the gave me the plastic tag with the key code on it and said don't lose it. So, I put it in my pocket for safe keeping. Somewhere along the line of some stops on the way home the tag must have got tangled in my household keys and fell out of my pocket when I pulled out the keys to get my cell phone or keys for the old car and I didn't notice it.
I've called the dealer and am waiting for them to call back as they thought the could still get the code for me.
