Finally got a new 2015 Genesis 5.0 Ultimate Black on Black. Love it so far. Its the Genesis that's all grown up. Much more sophisticated ride. Got all the options that I know of, but just noticed that I dont have the headlight washers. WTF. Never new that was a selectable option. Anyway love it so far.

Traded in my 2012 R-Spec. Got a decent price for it. No complaints.

I believe the headlight washers are only on the 3.8 AWD model.

Congrats! Nice F-350 sitting next to Genesis as well. I'm kind of curious on who knows who did the better job of putting black paint on a vehicle. Ford or Hyundai?

Lol. Fit and finish is superior to the Ford truck, but it is a truck.

All they do is squirt windshield washer fluid on your clean hood - unless you live in a swamp, they are unnecessary.

Or live in a snow prone area where your headlights will be covered in a white salt haze in no time - the washers are nice to have in that case and I know I'll use them. Maybe that's why they appear to be only on the AWD models?
 
Congratulations! I have been driving my Genesis for the past month, and have enjoyed the car very much. Hyundai did a great job with this car! Enjoy your new car!
 
Looking for a rear wing badge for the 2015 Genesis. I know there are alot on Ebay, but does anyone have or know anyone in the US that is selling them?

Congrats on the new ride. I have only had mine since Friday but can tell you this is by far the best car I have ever owned. You're gonna love it.
 
Totally agree. This car is miles ahead of the 2009-2012 in ride comfort and luxury feel. Can't speak to the 13-14 MY. I know this car is about the same overall length as previous MY, but this car seems so much bigger. I also like the way the seats are mounted lower in the cabin. Back up camera seems a bit cheap. The image is not as clear as the '12. The HUD is cool. I thought it was going to be a distraction but it's just there and it's kinda subliminal image as you drive. There is a slight roar of the v8 as it's running which sounds better that the '12's. Power is was never an issue with either MY in my opinion. The tranny is much better tuned and I don't get that jerky motion as it down/up shifts when slowing down and then accelerating from a coasting stop. Tires seem to have a little road noise, but I'm off to get the pressure checked out today. I'm pretty sure they are all running high from the gauge in the dash. That's all for now. I'll keep them coming as time goes on.
