Sure. No problems here - just typical HomeLink glitches when pairing. Usually if you just start over from scratch everything works fine. Good luck.

I dont have the original remote, but on the 09 Genny I didnt require it to pair it. Now the 15 instructions say I do. did you pair it with or without the garage remote?

With. IIRC, first you need to pair with the remote then you "teach" the opener itself the code from the car.

I actually found the remote and got it programmed after 47 trips back and forth to the car and garage opener. but its done !!!!

Also........ I noticed we dont get the suede roof liner on the 5.0 Ultimates. Ya think after asking $57 THOOOOUUUUSAND DOLLARS for a car you would get ALL the options available.

I never programmed my garage door opener to my Genesis HomeLink. I am afraid I would not remember to reset it when I sold the car. I just use the remote that came with the garage door.

I think once you cycle thru the random codes for your new remote it would wipe out the other connection code to the old car. I sure hope Im right on this one hahaha

Who is paying $57,000 for a 5.0 Ultimate? And you went ahead and bought one at whatever price you paid (hopefully not $57K!), so you must have been OK with what you felt you were getting for your money - or you didn't do much research if you're griping about these well know items after the fact?

Anyone planning on painting their 2015 Genesis calipers covers a different color? Or do you think this car is not suited for that kinda treatment. I'm on the fence on how this would look. Not sure if the car is 'sporty' looking or is it just sophisticated to the point it doesn't need it.

I’m happy with the default look. Low keyed and elegant. It has no trouble garnishing attention. Only thing I would have changed is the lower side chrome molding. Would have preferred none or body color. Not a big fan of chrome. As one reviewer said why is it some car companies think more chrome is a sign of luxury?

I agree. Just wanted to know others opinions. I guess Im from the generation that associates chrome with luxury. Kinda wish the 2015's had a bit more adornment on the rear truck lid.

I also can't get the screensaver to work :/. The only way I have been able to get the pictures/slideshow to work at all is by plugging in a USB with pictures, going to the USB media, and then viewing the pictures. There's a little option there for slideshow and it scrolls through the pictures on the USB. But it doesn't let you save the pictures on the car or view the pictures when you shift out of park, which is silly.


If anybody else has any info on this, please share!

I haven't tried this (YET) but according to the DIS manual, you can copy jpg files from a USB into the Jukebox then view these images. See the DIS manual page 57 for the "Copying the USB image file to Jukebox" and page 51 for "Viewing Jukebox image".

Hope this helps. Please let me know as this is something I wanted to try as well.
