  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

New Genesis 5.0 Ultimate Owner

I haven't tried this (YET) but according to the DIS manual, you can copy jpg files from a USB into the Jukebox then view these images. See the DIS manual page 57 for the "Copying the USB image file to Jukebox" and page 51 for "Viewing Jukebox image".

Hope this helps. Please let me know as this is something I wanted to try as well.

Thanks. I have 3.8 with the base Nav system, so it might work differently with mine. Anyway, I am going to take another look at the manual and will report back.

I have the same car/color combo as you (purchased last June). Traded it my 2010 BMW 750i and haven't looked back since. This car really is nice and has an amazing amount of technology. You'll grow to love it even more as time goes on...(only major exception the navigation for speech input for destinations).

Have you tried using the Google Search function on the mirror. This works awesome.

Yes, you need to have Bluelink but it is worth the money. You simply press the button (2nd button in from the left) on the mirror and speak. For instance, we were up in Melbourne Florida yesterday and wanted to eat at a restaurant that sells steaks. I said "Steak Restaurants" and a list of all places popped up. It works just like Google. You can say "Red Lobster", "WalMart", "Flea Markets", "Malls", "Shoe Stores", "Dive Shops", "Hyundai Dealer" etc... and a list, starting with the closest location to you on down shows up. It also shows a directional arrow next to each item on the list as well as the distance to it. We have yet to find a limitation with it. The next time I am in the car, I will take a snap shot and post some pictures.
