  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Went to install my new center caps, but the old caps are adhered into place? do i have to cut out the center to snap the new caps in?

I just bought the replacement "waffle" with the Genesis wings on them. EZ-PZ.

Yup the ones you bought are for the 17" and 19" wheels. Not the 18s.

I appreciate all the information - my own ignorance with placing an order before confirming what is needed.
Though with some heat and delicate persuading, I was able to remove and swap the center metal caps. Took about an hour, but they are all done.

Interesting......

Did you have to break a glue bond on the old one, and glue the new one on??

Good work.

The old center caps were held on with the same adhesive as the rear emblem on the trunk - that grey 3M slightly foamy adhesive strips. I removed the old adhesive and used new. Luckily by heating the genesis caps the adhesive didn't remain stuck to the back and came off quite easily.
