  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey guys
After my last post regarding lease prices(3 different dealers later) I was finally able to get the deal i wanted. I went to a big hyundai dealer and funny enough a guy i went to high school with worked there.
Long story short i got the genesis base awd black on black. Car is everything i could have imagined.
All the other dealers wanted 4,000 down at 650 a month plus first payment at signing. My friend got me 3000 down at 550 a month !! Score !!

Now my only question is this.. I have only ever owned white cars, They have been easy to mantain. This black i am scared of . Any suggestions... Paint protection is a must ?? I was gonna get a car cover but i cant do that everywhere i go.

Congrats on the new genny!:D i had a black sonota before my white genny. I wish i would have known a few things about taking care of paint then. When i bought my genny i was determined to learn i found autogeek online and watched all of there detailing vods.
If you want check them out. www.autogeek.com

Thank you darth. Funny that I had a white sonata and got a black genesis. lol
Thanks for the link. I just know its gonna be hard to keep it scratch free. My white car did a great job of hiding everything. I would have got white but it wasnt an option unless i wanted the rwd . Limited selection.

Opticoat II if you're planning on buying out the lease. It's amazing. See some of Scottdk's posts on this forum for the story. Otherwise, just keep it clean, clayed and protected with good wax, and don't let waterspots bake on in hot sunlight.
