Just purchased 2011 Tau 4.6 - my thoughts
Test drove many many cars over last two weeks. BMW 3 series, Mercedes 300C 4matic, Infiniti G37 sedan and couple, Nissan Maxima, Acura TL, Buick Regal GS, to name just a few. Also drove a low mileage Platinum 5 Spec. Then saw one more car. 2011 4.6 Sapphire Blue?/Royal Blue with cashmere interior. Liked the color combo a lot and preferred the ride over the 5.0 spec for some reason. Car mint condition and 20,069 miles. Thinking it was my bad back that chose it over the 5.0 spec as ride (could have been my imagination) on a bumpy road seemed a little more comfortable. Also hard a hard time justifying the extra $7000 for the 5.0 spec. Even so it was a hard decision. After driving all the cars I test drove I did conclude it has to be the BMW and Merc badge that impresses some car owners as I came away unimpressed with those cars. Maybe they just did not fit my needs like the 4.6 now in my driveway. Plus I like having something not ordinary.
