Snow Driving Update:
Honestly, I’m not sure if the excellence of the tires or the GV70 is to be credited with my snow driving observations, or the harmonious confluence of the four tires working in concert with the GV70.
I was in “Snow Mode” for all of these observations.
That being said, this car is a magnificent vehicle to commandeer during inclement weather. The handling and stability are so superior over ice, snow, and compacted & rutted frozen glop, that other vehicles seem to be crawling!
The stability control is dialed in! (Once again, danke Herr Biermann

) The stability control on The GV70 is really remarkable, keeping the GV70 in its lane, even when cornering on compact snow/ice!
The ABS on the GV70 is also remarkable! I didn’t have to pump my brakes once. Even on a decreasing radius turn in the shade! (albeit, I was going slow and gently

When braking on ice in an aggressive manor, I felt the stability control keeping the front end pointing straight and true! When applying the brakes on rutted snow/ice in a gentle smooth manor, the ABS doesn’t even engage!
We purchased this car for driving in inclement weather, and as a tool for that, The GV70 has performed beyond my wildest expectations. The GV70 is a special car, and I’m not talking short bus special. It’s really a transcendent homologation of all of Alberts know how, combined with inspired design, and a love of the cutting edge that South Korea insists on.
My only regret is my beloved GV70 is covered in salt, and it’s too cold to go to a touch-less car wash, so I’m putting my faith in the
ceramic coat until I can get all that crap off my baby!
Here‘s a pic:

As an aside, where are my mud flaps?
