  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Good Afternoon,

Just picked up a 2011 red Genesis 4.6. I am very pleased overall with the car. Just a very nice all around vehicle.

Had to go from Pittsburgh (Go Pens, Buccos and Steelers) to Wildwood NJ, round trip ~1,000 miles with random driving and such. Flawless. 26.4 mpg.

And my XM is on, I don't know if that is a temporary thing by the dealer or what, but I figured l'd keep my mouth shut until I know. Speaking of which, I do really appreciate the stereo. It is one of the best I have heard in any car.

Does take a little getting used to the radar assist cruise. If you don't pay attention you will slow up to the speed limit, OH NO!!

So welcome to me, I enjoyed learning about my vehicle before I bought it.

:welcome:

Cheers,
LDMF

Great car. Smart cruise is beginning to be very common now. I have it on two cars and use it every day. You will love it more as time passes.

Welcome and glad you like your Genny. At first I hated that adaptive CC, but, now I wouldn't want a car w/out it.

I like the cruise but I hate that when you get up to packs you are better off shutting cruise off until you get around or away from the pack, every time someone pulls into your cushion space in front of you the car hits the brakes

+1 Going up I95 into Georgia and the Carolinas, forget about it. It takes a more open road to work effectively. BTW, get you car fixed yet?
