Hi everyone. My first post, as I am new to the forum. Picked up my 2015 3.8 AWD with all the available option packages. BUT, I'm already having problems with the battery going dead. I drove the car home 365 miles from the dealership. Everything was fine. My wife drove it for a couple of days and then it has sat in the garage for five days. Went to start it earlier today and it wouldn't start. I had to boost it from my other vehicle and it took a long time to get it to start. The battery must have really been drained. Drove it around the neighborhood for a bit and then let it idle for an hour. Parked it for about seven hours and then tried to start it again... same thing. Dead battery. The sticker on this car was nearly $53k. It has 425 miles and on it and this is happening already. I checked to make sure nothing was left on in the car that could drain it. While it is winter here and the temps have been in the teens, I have it parked in my garage which maintains a temp of about 40 degrees. It really sucks because I live in the northern most part of Michigan, along the Lake Superior shoreline and the nearest dealership is 220 miles from me. I got the car from a dealership in Minnesota because they had the colors and options combinations I wanted. I will call the service department on Monday. Oh, boy! Sure am disappointed. I research long and hard before I buy a car and all the information pointed me to this car. I love the styling and all the features, but not happy about this problem.
