  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Personally, I prefer a "tuner" look over the 20" "bling" thang that's the hip hop trend currently.
Too heavy with reduced performance over stock or a light weight performance type wheel, but to each his own.
Hope she likes them.

not a fan of that look. I like the staggered look on the genesis and think it would look alot better if it were lowered.

I moved this into the "Wheels" forum.. I think they look EXCELLENT on the Genesis!! I'm the odd man out. :o

I like these wheels as well and I've always loved the look of the staggered wheels as it gives that "performance" look to a sports sedan, but I would have concerns about (lack of) full tire rotation and extending out the life of the tires to get the maximum mileage out of them. I've never owned a set of staggered wheels, so I guess that's just part of the price and consideration one does before jumping into it. Are my concerns valid or just unfounded?

That looks anything but "performance".
think "BLING".
might as well put a DUB emblem on the side of the car.

It really doesn't look "blingy" to me at all.. Maybe I expect more chrome or something...

I think he was referring to the staggered setup, which to me makes the car look more sporty.

A misconception about staggered setups is that you cant rotate the wheels. YOu can but only side to side and the tires have to be removed from the wheel and placed on the opposite wheel as most are directional. I do that with my Toyos and get very good mileage out of them, all things considered.

Good to hear that you still get good mileage out of the tires with only a side-to-side setup, as I've been hesitant to try it for fear I would lose 75%-80% of the tire life.

I definitely agree it gives a more sport sedan look to it and puts more "meat on the street" with a little bit bigger footprint on the rear. I wish they came this way stock and think it adds to the overall look of a true sport sedan.

I would get even more mileage if my car wasnt so low and the negative camber

Kudos to your Mrs. on her 50th. Wheels are lookin' good. What we think is irrelevant; what does she think?

wouldve been better in chrome then the hyper silver that it looks like, jmo though. seems as though theres too much tire but hey this is for a 50 yr old not a 25-35yr old.

Wheels look great!! Did you cahnge the tires? Any difference in the ride quality?

Those wheels look excellent. I really like the style of the wheel itself. I might have gone with a slightly wider tire, but I really like the style of the wheel. Nicely done.
