Hi, my name is Ron Veenker. I live in Holden Beach NC. While in Nashville TN visiting family for Christmas, I took my grandsons out to do manly things like kick tires at a dealership. This was Dec 23. On Saturday, Dec 26 I drove away in a Black/black 3.8 2009 Genesis. I visit the forum daily, but have really had trouble navigating the site. There is surely a lot here. I am interested in getting to reputable vendors who provide upgrades and add on parts. My dealer provided me with the complete badge kit so I'm good on that score. But I do want to see what's out there. I don't think there are very many members of the forum in NC. I saw posts from two fellows in Charlotte. Anybody know NC Genesis owners?

Just to let you know, I am in far western NC. Bought a Titanium Gray/Black 2009 Premium Package in October in Asheville NC.

Good to hear from you both, Taxicab and Dirty Eddie. I've been talking to folks down here about the Fayetteville dealership. Taxi, you need to take your 3.8 down to the Tail of the Dragon and show those bikers how the Genesis corners.

The one thing I did to my 3.8 was add HIDs - the stock headlights just aren't very good imo. I ordered a set from DDM and did a write up - so far no issues.
