  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2022 G70 3.3 AWD Prestige and I don’t have any tilt adjustment on the front seat headrests. The owners manual shows the adjustment but mine are non-adjustable, I looked where the posts go into the bottom of the headrest and they are solid. Is this a some have it after a specific date or am I missing something?

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Just letting you know that I moved this topic out of the community lounge and into the Genesis G70 interior forum...

Oops, sorry and thanks!

I have a '23, and zero tilt or front to back adjustment; just vertical. And unfortunately, that's the case for the great majority of vehicles out there. Fortunately for me, most headrests are millimeters away from my head the way I like the seat adjusted, which is exactly the point of the anti-whip-lash law, so no issues here. With few exceptions, I have to just recline the seat a hair more, and problem solved. That's what you'll have to do. And it could be a good thing, since you might be too close to the airbag if the headrest is hitting your head. Just play with the seat and steering wheel adjustments. Hope this helps.

Just strange that the owners manual shows the adjustment for the headrest and there isn’t any * or anything indicating that some cars won’t have it. My previous cars had this and it definitely helps the passenger in front.

There are a lot of errors on most manuals, but Hyundai ones are the worst. Probably because the Korean market has more options than anywhere else, and poor proofing leaves a lot of non-existent options in the manuals.
