  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I just purchased a pre-owned 2011 Genesis 4.6 with tech. The interior lights don't seem to work. I haven't had a chance to play with it much, but they should work when the door opens automatically I'm assuming.

Any thoughts? I'm hoping it's something simple like a fuse or something.

There is a button on the overhead console towards the rear of the console which control the interior lamp's operation. There are also two buttons just to the left and right of the most rearward button that control the individual driver's and passenger's lamps. Play with those until you find the right combination.

check the 10A fuse for the "Mirror" in driver's side interior fuse box.

Sorry for borrowed photo, car is in the shop today. Ignore the yellow circle, the fuse in question is the 2nd from the top left "10A MIRROR".
